Snow Day

10 minutes it takes to find all the winter clothes,

(which apparently a boy beanie was not found in that time):

 

20 minutes it takes to get the 3 layers in place, 8 socks on, and scarves, hats, and gloves on:

Another 8 minutes to reapply all the articles of clothing that were taken off on the way to the door:

Add another 5 minutes for us to get all our layers in place:

Add that up. 

Is the 40 minutes of prep time worth the 20 minutes of actual play time?

Yes.  Yes it is!

 

This  is my kind of snow: 45 minutes away from where we live!

We can go, play, build snowmen, get warm with hot coco, and drive home to St. George where there are blue skies and dry roads.

Best. Snowday. Ever.

Just ask Mrs. Frosty.

And we even finished it off with snow shave ice, and hot coco,

although I probably wouldn't recommend mixing the two like these crazies!
