Meet my apprentice:
We snuck over to our neigbor's house early one morning to paint a little 4th of July window-love.
Scout helped me carry the paint over, and loved being so sneaky about it.
She wanted to help, and I almost brushed her off, than realized- Yes! Of course she can help!
So, I handed her a paint brush, and let her go.
She did awesome!
Never has a firework been painted with so much love and care.
She did get offended when a neighbor walked by and called out, "Nice flag."
Her shoulders immediately slumped, and I heard her say, 'yours is better than mine.'
Why are we all so hard on ourselves, even at 4 years old?
It took a little bit of convincing and morale boosting,
but she is so, so, so proud of her fireworks!
I loved every minute of watching her so focused, and trying so hard to paint the perfect firework.
This little lady is the firecracker of my world!
