Welcome to being a mom of a stubborn 2 year old!

"No Help!"

"By myself!!!!!" 

Then come the tears, and the whining of "I stuck!"

After 10 minutes of convincing him to let me help, and we get him fixed, 

he just looks at me and asks,

"Ugh. Why you do that?"

 

Whether it's the swimsuit, putting on flip-flops, buckling his seat belt, or brushing his teeth, he wants to do everything!

Then gets frustrated that he can't. 

 Then is mad that I am not helping. 

Then is mad that I am helping. 

Repeat. x30

 

Each day I pray to be more patient, and each day I am given many opportunities to practice being patient.
