Who needs video games, littlest pet shops, pillow pets, or transformers when you have . . .

A stick?

A stick and a gramma, aunts, uncles, and cousins ready to play a game of good 'ol fashioned stick pulling! ("just like on the pioneer movie")

 At my parents last month we spent the night watching these semi-competitive Malufau children get their sweat on as they pulled their little hearts out against everyone brave enough to go against them.

I guess you don't really know how competitive your kids are until you put a stick in their hand, and tell them to pull hard, 'Just like Joseph Smith.'

Buldging veins and all!

 

 I'm not sure who was more entertaining,

the kids or my mom. . .

This one's my favorite- too bad we can't have the sound to go with it.
There was a whole lot of grunts and yells- it was a pretty good fight. Scout's face is my favorite.

 

Next time you have some time to kill, throw a stick at your kids, and see their inner hulk emerge.
