Now that there is snow on the ground outside, it seems weird to post pictures of us in swimming suits, but I need to catch up on this blogging business, so the summer pictures will keep coming for a bit.
When it's over 100 degrees for weeks at a time,
that leaves just about 2 options of things to do:
1. Splash Pads
and
2. Snow Cones
I love St. George's splash pad, as does the rest of the city, so most of the time I would loose a kid in the mix of the hundreds of littles running around this place. Best part was there is a little country store across the street that sells awesome breadsticks (lunch- check!), and normally the icecream truck would make his rounds (treats when kids need a little boost- check!)
And that pretty much sums up our summer days!
Throw in the cheap kids movie with a friend, then spending the day at the splash pad, and life. was. good.
Face shots are always a favorite!
And of course a summer isn't complete without shaved ice.
(don't mind his rashy face, this rash made its appearance all summer long, which made for a lot of cute pictures)
Even though it's 30 degrees outside right now, I could go for a slurpee or shaved ice right about now. Will pass on the splash pad though.
